Freezing Pie

​       Freezing          

• Take pie carefully out of the box​

• Wrap the pie lighty in foil,  you don't want to break the crust

• Return pie to the box - Write date  directly on the box.   
                    Freeze for up to three (3) months.

 

       Heating         

 

Do NOT defrost - Pie will go straight into the oven!

• Pre-heat oven to 275 degrees 

• Unwrap pie & place directly  on the lowest rack 

• Bake for 25-35 minutes  -- Times will  vary depending on your oven  

• Check the center of the pie with a fork around 20 minutes                                                                                                        & every 5 minutes after until the fork  come out  steaming hot (center of pie is hot!)

       --BUT the Best indicator is the smell of the pie!  When you can smell the pie you are very close!  

• Remember you just want to heat it not over cook it

• Remove carefuly from oven - Pie will be hot

• Let stand for 10-15 minutes
